A Closer Look

The front of the SteelSeries Apex box has a nice cut-out so you can get a feel for the QS1 switch.

The rear of the box, goes a bit more in depth into the features.

Inside you get the keyboard itself, some replaceable feet, Mac replacement keycaps and a driver disc. Although getting the latest software from the SteelSeries site is advisable.

The keycaps are low profile and the switch underneath is vastly different to the Cherry MX switch found in most mechanical keyboards.

As you can see it has an RGB LED in the centre of each switch.
