Ducky design Massdrop exclusive keyboard

Ducky, the popular mechanical keyboard manufacturer from Taiwan, have designed a special Massdrop exclusive keyboard and it is a stark change from their current range.

Featuring an extremely slim metal case that sits flat with the normal metal backplate of the keyboard. It takes big style cues from other popular mechanical keyboard manufacturers.

However with those cues, come a wide array of switch configuration options including Cherry MX Clears, Greens, and Whites. Switches not often seen in off the shelf keyboards. (I still want some Cherry MX Clears)

The keyboard has a sand blasted CNC Aluminium casing and White LED backlighting. Currently it is available on Massdrop.com for $199.99 (depending on the switch type chosen) with $16 shipping to the UK.

Effectively it appears to be a recased Ducky Shine 3 or ONE, with a white backplate, so if you have been wanting one in a switch choice that was previously unavailable it might be the perfect time to go and buy one, but for me, I think I will stick with my Year of the Goat, in it’s full RGB goodness.
