Laser League Beta signups available now!

I was recently alerted to the fact that Roll7’s latest game Laser League is having a closed beta this weekend with an open signup period right now.

Laser League, looks like an interesting mashup of those games where you had to keep sectioning off a smaller and smaller section of the field eventually trapping a bouncing ball and speed ball but without the ball.

This ‘field test’ takes place from Friday 3pm for us Brits until Sunday 3am with a stress test window on the Friday at 9pm.

Thankfully 505 and Roll7 have produced a handy cross timezone guide for anyone else that wants to participate.

Before I post the trailer, I will echo a few of the comments in saying that the editor seems to have been a bit cut happy and that the actual game play shown is a bit frantic and short.

Either way it does look interesting enough of a premise to get stuck in to, although I don’t think I will be able to actually join the beta this weekend.

If you do, head on over to http://www.laserleaguegame.com/ you can sign up for a chance to get into the beta happening over this weekend. As well as take a look at the game in a bit more detail.
