Retron 5 almost here?!!

Well, I am very rarely excited, but these past few days have been causing me to almost get giddy! This is because the much delayed Retron 5 appears as though it may almost be here.

Retron5

Yes the console that was meant to hit these cold and wintry shores last Christmas, has had confirmation by UK stockist Funstock.co.uk  that it expects to be able to ship stock the first week of December and for those of us that pre-ordered last year. We will get a free upgrade to a two controller version.

Pre-Orders for this item are expected to shift very quickly, despite this I just know for a fact that the hype is far bigger than the console. I am glad however that I will be able to finally pull out some of my classic games wipe of the dust then boot up a copy of Castle of Illusion or Double Dragon, like back in the day.

The price for the Retron 5 currently comes in at £164.99 which is a bit more than the initial price last year, but with all the problems the console has had this is not unexpected, for them to cover additional costs.

If you do want to pick one up, head on over to http://www.funstock.co.uk/retron-5-2-controller-bundle-grey and get buying!
