Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal – Out 18th Jan
The latest entry (kind of) in the Senran Kagura series sees its release on the 18th of Jan for PlayStation owners, with a slightly later release of the 22nd of Jan for PC users.
The ground up remake of the series’ first 3D entry will hit the ground running with both English and French localisation.
Rather than the side scrolling action of the original game, Burst Re:Newal features new full 3D environments much like the later games of the series.
Cutscenes and character models have also been given a makeover for the new release to bring them all into the modern format.
A smattering of DLC is going to be available upon release as well including costumes and various accessories for your Shinobi Squad. Those that have it will be pleased to hear that Estival Versus DLC will also be compatible with Burst Re:Newal to give you a few more options.
A number of pre-order specials are currently available up until release. These variants have different bonus items mainly revolving around various DLC outfits or an additional character.
Though in typical Senran Kagura fashion a limited edition physical edition is available which includes that little bit more.
