Speedrunning for Charity

Gaming has been a force for charity for a number of years.

With events like Desert Bus For Hope and Games Done Quick raising millions for a number of different charities over the years.

The recent Summer Games Done Quick finished raising over $2.2M dollars for Doctors Without Borders and in a few weeks, the European equivalent ESA will look to be building upon its own charitable fundraising history.

Whilst a smaller scale event than Games Done Quick, ESA is no less a brilliant event that showcases the best that this side of the pond has to offer in speedrunning community and is supporting Save the Children, with all donations going to the charity.

This year will see the return of the two stream format, with games spread across both streams to keep you occupied.

It takes place from the 21st of July through to the 27th and it kicks off with a Dark Souls III race
