devolo dLAN 1200 triple+ – Review

Up Close

Devolo send the dLAN 1200 triple+ in a simple enough box which covered with information about the units.

Inside are the two units and a I am not surprised to see that the units bear a striking resemblance to the Wi-Fi units I reviewed.

First thing to note is that they quite large devices with the second unit only being marginally bigger than the primary.

Thankfully both devices have a mains passthrough so you don’t lose the socket you plug them into.

Again, the network ports are sat on the top of the unit, for me this makes it easier to fit cables however it does mean that routing cables down will be a pain.

In the box, you get two CAT 5e cables which are able to fully support the 1Gbps ports on the two units.
