devolo dLAN 1200+ Wi-Fi AC Powerline Starter Kit – Review
It’s been a short while since my last review. However the nice people from devolo got in touch to provide me with something shiny to take a look at.
devolo for those who don’t know are a leading manufacturer of powerline and data communications products. They have sent me a set of their dLAN 1200+ WiFi AC powerline adapters. A product they claim can provide Wi-Fi anywhere.
Specifications
The devolo dLAN 1200+ WiFi AC powerline adapters feature gigabit Ethernet ports, with the larger of the two sporting two ports, AC standard WiFi which can broadcast on 2.4 and 5GHz simultaneously, you also get integrated power sockets so that you don’t sacrifice a port when using these adapters.
They use range+ technology to help increase the performance of the connection. This utilises all three wires in conventional wiring and not the normal two. It also has the benefit of being able to improve the stability of the connection.
